**"Release #1" Selected For Juried Show in San Francisco**
One of my newer pieces, titled "Release #1" (in the Viscera and Effluences series), was selected for a juried show at Arc Gallery this June. The show is called "Flow: The Essence of Paint" and will feature works of art that demonstrate the intrinsic properties that serve to characterize and identify the paint medium.

The "Release" pieces that I create involve adding acrylic inks to water and then rolling the liquid around on the surface of the polypropylene by tilting it. This creates chaotic "channels" and paths of ink that serve as an initial structure around which I build the rest of the composition.

"Viscera: Stomach" will also be appearing in their on-line exhibition. More details to follow.....
**Artslant Showcase Winner!**
I was just selected as one of Artslant's 10 juried showcase winners. The piece selected was Viscera: Stomach. More info is available here.
**"Marking Time" exhibition at Liquid Spaces, March 2011**
Six of my drawings are included in a group exhibit at Liquid Spaces in San Francisco. The show is titled "Marking Time" and is an exploration of how time is recorded and processed emotionally, physically and mentally. Also included in the show are works by artists Bernadette Jiyong Frank and Jeong Im Yi.
The show will be up until early April, and can be seen by appointment. Please call (415) 677-7300 to make an appointment.
